The Planck Team

The Planck mission is an international venture, lead by the European Space Agency (ESA). There are collaborators from all over Europe and Northern America, with the total number of people involved running into several hundreds. In the UK, the institutions involved in the design, construction and operation of Planck are:

The UK funding is provided by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and the UK Space Agency (UKSA).

As well as the above institutions, scientists from several other UK institutions will be also be working on the analysis of Planck data, including University of Oxford, University College London and University of Sussex.
